Elfs clarifying pressed powder REVIEW!!

This is a compact pressed powder that comes in 7 shades. This product claims to have a flawless finish, absorbs oil,  and it prevents and treats skin imperfections. As to these claims, I would say that it is very lightweight. It doesn't cover very much, but that is due to the fact it is a powder. Powders give off the leaast amount of coverage. This product does absorb oil, however I will use this product to set my foundation and it will take off the shine, however it still gets a little oily in my T-Zone. This is a good touch up powder though due to the fact it is small and compact, however I will point out it does not have a mirror in the compact. So if you wanted to take this on the go you will need a mirror and a brush. This product is suppose to work at preventing and treating skin imperfections like acne, oil, and even large pores by using salicylic acid. The only downside to this is the salicylic acid is not effective in this form. It has to be in a liquid form because of the pH. You can't rely on this product to help with breakouts. None the less this powder is great. It has a good amount of mineral oil and petrolatum that gives the texture of this powder a smooth glide on feel. The price on this product is great. This is only $1 and you can get it at Target, Walmart, and eyeslipsface.com.

Pros
- good cheap powder
- small so you can fit it in your purse
- Good at setting foundations

Cons
- Not very pigmented
- Does not have a mirror in it, which you would need to pack one
- Salicylic Acid doesn't work if its in powder  form

Overal this is a great product to have and I will most likely continue to buy this. I give it a 9/10. Its cheap, and it helps set foundation.
