Sheamoisture raw Shea butter deep treatment masque

I had recently changed my hair care routine about a month or so ago. I had purchased a new conditioner, new styling products and a new treatment mask. This was the mask that I decided to purchase. I wanted a product that didn't have an assortment of ingredients. Ingredients like: fragrance,
Propylene glycol, any kind of chlorides, etc. I have read that these have damaging effects on the hairs structure. This is the product that I had found that doesn't contain any of these ingredients.

This hair mask is one of the best I have tried. All other masks make my hair feel great the first day but left it dry the next day. This mask put moisture in my hair and left it in there. This is used once to twice a week depending on your hair. I find that it works best on wet hair. I take a shower and wash my hair. After I shampoo I step out of the shower and towel dry my hair. I put in a generous amount of this product to the ends of my hair and I put on a shower cap. I usually put on a face mask while it sits. I leave my mask on for around an hour. After the hour I take off the shower cap and rinse my hair. I apply my conditioner after I rinse off my mask. I have noticed a difference in my frizziness, the dry ends, and the tangling. I do believe it is because of this product.

Overall this product is my absolute favorite. This makes my hair so much more manageable, more soft, it improves the look of my hair. This product is the reason why my hair looks smooth. This has been a huge change in my haircare routine and I have nothing but good things to say about it. This product is $11 and you can purchase it at ulta, target", and online.

Nutrisystem 5 day program review

This was a great program. This was the most easiest weight loss program that I have ever tried. This has a lot of really good food. Although the portions are small you can supplement them with vegetables. You get smart carbs and powerfuels throughout the day. I would highly recommend this program for people with a busy life. And people that find it difficult to stay on diets. I found this one of the most effective diet plans out there. I would love to buy a months plan and show you guys what's in the 28 day meal plan. But if you want to do a test drive before you spend the money. Definitely try this, you won't be sorry.

On this I had lost 3 pounds. I have about 15-20 pounds to lose I wanted to try this out and see if it worked. This will definitely help people with portion control issues and for people who have a quick and busy lifestyle.

Nutrisystem day 5/5

Today is he last day on the 5 day nutrisystem program. I really enjoyed it. So my last days meals were.

For breakfast I had the peanut butter bar. It tasted good. It wasn't very filling. It tasted like peanut butter. I would give this a 7.

For lunch I had the red beans and rice. This was very delicious. It was so filling and it tasted amazing.   It had some sausage in it to which was a surprising kick. I would give this a 9.

For dinner I had the Italian herb flatbread pizza. This was very delicious. I personally didn't care for the sauce but everything together tasted good. This was about the size of a slice of pizza. I would give this an 8.

For dessert I had the peppermint patty. This didn't taste like the candy you get at the store. This is very chewy. It had some crunchy chocolate pieces in it. I did like this but it was small and it was very chewy I would give this a 6.

Nutrisystem day 4/5

For breakfast I had the granola cereal. It tasted good but it was very small. And not filling at all. I would give this a 7 just because of the amount you get. I think you get more with a serving of Cheerios then this.

For lunch I had the chicken noodle soup. This was very good. If you are going to be on this plan you do need to eat a lot of vegetables just so you won't be hungry. I didn't eat any with this and I was so hungry shortly after. I would give this a 7 just because it's not too filling. But it did taste really good.

For dinner I had the meat lasagna. This was delicious. It had a great flavor. And it was filling. I would give this an 8.

For dessert I had the chocolate covered pretzels. These were delicious. They tasted like normal chocolate covered pretzels. You don't get a lot but it was really good. I would give this a 9.

Nutrisystem 3/5

For breakfast: I had the honey wheat bagel with a tbs. of peanut butter. This breakfast is filling and tastes good. I would love to have it more often it was the perfect size. I had felt hungry at 11 and then ate my lunch at 12:33. I would give this a 9, it was very good.

For lunch I had the fudge graham bar. This is so good. It's sweet and tastes like a chocolatey graham cracker. I would give this an 8 just because it wasn't very filling.

For dinner I had the chicken pot pie. This was good. I loved the crust. I didn't love the filling but it didn't taste bad. The crust was flaky and really good. I would give this a 7. I didn't care for the filling that much.

For dessert I had the cheesecake bar. This was alright. It doesn't really taste like cheesecake and it's really small. I would give this a 6 just because i didn't care much for it.

Nutrisystem day 2/5

Hello everyone, to day is the 2nd day on this program. Yesterday I was very hungry after my snack, I didn't eat anything else though. Hopefully today will be a better less hungry day.

For breakfast I had the double chocolate muffin. This tasted good. It wasn't your typical chocolatey taste. It was good though. I had that with string cheese. I ate that around 9 I did feel hungry at 11:30.  I would give this an 8 it tastes good.

For lunch: I had the loaded baked potato. This was not that great. It had a different texture than regular instant mashed potatoes. I had a yogurt with it and I wasn't hungry later on. There was a decent amount of the instant mashed potatoes. But it tasted bad. I would give it a 3.

For dinner I had rotini and meatballs. This wasn't bad I'm not a fan of the meatballs but the pasta was good. There is a lot of sauce. I would give this a 7

For dessert I had the chocolate chip cookies. These were delicious. These taste better in my opinion than chips ahoy cookies. I would give this food a 10.

Nutrisystem Day 1/5

Today is the first day on the nutrisystem 5 day program. I will have pictures on everything I eat and I will give my review on how each entrée tastes. First off we will have breakfast.

Breakfast you need to have the nutrisystem entrée and a powerfuel. I chose the Cinnamon Struesel muffin. And my powerfuels a hardboiled egg. there is suppose to be a midmorning powerfuel snack, I prefer to skip this and add it to my afternoon smartcarb snack. Below is my breakfast choices:

My thoughts on the cinnamon streusel muffin were: It was a dense spongy like muffin. It is small, not close to the size of dunkin donuts muffins. It tasted pretty good. It wasn't a bad breakfast by any means.I ate this at 9, I did however feel hungry at about 11:30. I would give my breakfast an 8

For Lunch, I decided to be easy and take the Double chocolate caramel bar. I ate green beans and a yogurt. With lunch you are suppose to have 2 servings of vegetables and a powerfuel.

My thoughts on the double chocolate caramel bar were: extremely delicious, this tasted like a candy bar. It was crunchy and it had a hint of caramel. This was definitely something that I enjoyed because I do have a sweet tooth. I ate this at 12 and I started to get hungry at 3. I would give this a 9 because it was perfect for a sweet craving

For dinner, I decided to try the Chicken Alfredo. I had a smart carb which was a roll (not in picture). And I was suppose to have 2 more servings of vegetables. I decided to not eat any vegetables and just eat dinner and a smart carb.

My thoughts on the alfredo were: It was really good. I had read a lot of reviews saying how disgusting this entrée tasted. And I have no clue why people didn't like it. I was hesitant to try the chicken, so I didn't but the pasta portion was excellent. I would definitely eat this one in the future. I would give this one an 8. I ate this around 6

For dessert, I tried the popcorn. This is the last time that you eat fro the day. If you are a night eater try eating vegetables at night. These are considered unlimited. You can eat as much nonstarchy vegetables as you want.

My thoughts on the popscorn were: It tasted really good. I prefer this to microwaved popcorn, but nowhere near as good as the movie theater. There was a decent amount in the package. I ate this around 7 and I felt hungry later on. I would give this a 7

Overall today was a good day with the meals. I felt hungry but not extremely hungry. I felt like I was getting hungry more often than normal. During the morning my energy was starting to come down. I did start feeling a headache. It went away after lunch. But I did feel tired like I needed a catnap.

Nutrisystem 5 day preview

Im very excited to announce to everyone I will be trying the nutrisystem 5 day program. I will be doing individual reviews each day showing you pictures of the foods each day, give my review of each food, tell you how hungry I feel after the meal, and tell you how much weight I have lost, how my energy is, and how easy each item is to prepare.

This program gives you 5 days of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and desserts. This kit was sold at Walmart for $44.98. There is 2 different kits you can choose from. There is one in the red box which is the regular program, and a blue box which is meant for diabetics. This is about $9 a day for your main meals. You do need to supplement this diet with foods from the supermarket. You will need to purchase vegetables, smartcarbs, and powerfuels. Smartcarbs are healthy carbs, the pamphlet lists all the smart carbs you can have. I like to have fruits and grains on hand. The powerfuels are protein. You can choose nuts, lunch meat, yogurt, string cheese, etc. this plan works on the glycemic index. This have the right balance of fats, carbs, calories,  fiber, and sugar. As well as supplementing with food, you need to have 30 minutes of physical activity a day. As well as drink 8 glasses of water. A great thing that this program has to offer is free counseling. When you purchase the kit, you get a coupon code for free counseling. This comes in handy if you have emotional issues and deal with them through food.

Heres what came in the box. there are breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and desserts.

This is the pamphlet you get in the box. It has a list of smartcarbs, and powerfuels. It also tells you about the free counseling on the back, as well as a menu plan for the foods.

This is the sample plan they give you. You don't have to follow this, its just a guideline to show what you need to eat.

In this kit, for breakfast you get: Cinnamon struesel muffin, double chocolate muffin, honey wheat bagel, granola cereal, and peanut butter granola bar. For lunches you get: fudge graham bar, chicken noodle soup, double chocolate caramel bar, red beans and rice, and loaded baked potato. For dinner you get: lasagna with meat sauce, rotini and meatballs, chicken pot pie, chicken Alfredo, and Italian herb flatbread pizza. For desserts you get: cheesecake flavored bar, milk chocolate flavored pretzels, chocolate chip cookies, popcorn, and peppermint cookie patty. An easy way to indicate which food is meant to be eaten when is by color. Breakfasts are blue, lunches are orange, dinners are red, and desserts are purple. As you can see above.

My starting weight is 147lbs. My waist is measuring 27 1/2. My hips measure 42 1/2. And my thighs measure at 26 in. Through these 5 days I'm hoping to lose at least 3 pounds. If you weigh more than me you can expect to lose more.

CeraVe sunscreen for face SPF 50

I have been trying out a few sunscreens lately, and this was one that I had chosen. I wanted to try this product because of their other amazing products. The packaging on this product is pretty standard. There is 2 fl. Oz. of product. Its a squeeze tube and it is in opaque packaging. These are things that I look for when purchasing any face product for the right preservation of the ingredients.

As far as this products claims go. It states it has ceramides and niacinamide. These ingredients are present in the pm lotion (which is one of my favorites). These are cell communicating ingredients which helps with antiaging. The ingredients are not what I don't like. I don't like the smell of this product. Smell doesn't make a huge difference for me, but I prefer my products I scented. The worst aspect is blending. This is terrible at blending in and often times I notice it balling together and rolling off. There is always a white streaky look on my face when I apply it. It makes me question if the sunscreen has fully absorbed into the skin and performing to its full capability. As far as makeup application, I don't feel like it affects my foundation but my foundation primer. It makes the primer not do its job.

Overall I don't like this product. I am looking forward to using up the rest of this and getting a new one. It doesn't blend in, leaving streaks of white film on my face. It hinders my makeup from its full capability. If you are interested in using this you can find it at ulta, rite aid, and online. It's around $15.

Dr. Jart Pore Medic Derma @ Home Peeling REVIEW!!

This product is an at home chemical peel kit. It is important that you follow the instructions on any at home chemical peeling kit. If you do not follow the correct steps you can jeopardize your skin.

This is a two step project. You first need to use the thermal crystal scrub. This doesn't feel like a scrub. It feels like a rough lotion. It doesn't have any grit in it. I did notice that this has a lot of baking soda in it. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, however too much can cause irritation. This does contain vitamin e in it, however after one use the benefits of this ingredient are gone just because of the packaging. When you use this it feels like its making your skin hot. So if you experience this it is suppose to happen.

The next step is the liquid. This contains lactic acid in it. Lactic acid is meant for people who don't have very many fine lines and wrinkles and age spots. It also is beneficial to people with more dry skin. The last ingredient in this is the salicylic acid. This is meant for people with acne. Darker age spots and fine lines and wrinkles. This is the ingredient that should be higher than the lactic, just because this product is directed towards making your pores smaller. The packaging on this one is a squeezey tube. This makes the ingredients last longer.

You first need to was your face before using this product. Then you apply a thin amount of the thermal crystal scrub. You rub this in the skin for 2 minutes. Then you take the next step in the squeeze tube and massage for 1 minute. This goes right on top of the first step, you don't rinse off the step 1.

After you use this product, your skin feels softer and its noticeable that your skin is smoother and the pores are smaller. However this is temporarily. I recommend doing this only once a week. After using this product use good gentle skin care products. During the day make sure you use an spf no lower than 25.

Overall I do like this product. I will go back to my homemade peels. I do have a post on that, so if your interested in a more natural approach I have some good ones up. I wont repurchase this immediately, but I might in the future. If you are interested in purchasing this product it is $42 and you can get it at Sephora.

Ole Henriksens Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster REVIEW!!

I received a sample of this product from a clarisonic package from Sephora. I was eager to try this, I am trying to find the perfect vitamin c serum. The packaging on this product is in a clear jar with a pump. The only complaint is it is a clear jar. Vitamin C wont be effective for long with the presence of air and sunlight.

As far as the claims go : It is an antioxidant serum that is meant to brighten, increase collagen production, minimize fine lines, and it also defends against free radical damage.  It also states it contains green tea extract and sodium hyaluronate. This nourishes and hydrates the skin. It also contains orange extract which is suppose to renew cells. There is grapefruit extract with is an antiseptic. There is rose hips seeds extract which is healing and repairs damage. There is Sodium Ascrobyl Phosphate which helps aid in the production of collagen. There is also Ester C which is the stable vitamin c.

My own observations on the ingredients and my personal experience with the serum is not very good. The ingredients are the first thing I will address. The only good thing about the ingredients list is the vitamin c ingredient is the second ingredient.v This ensures that the vitamin c is going to work on what you want to minimize. However there are some ingredients that are damaging to the skin and further damage. The first one is the orange extract. This is very irritating to the skin. This isn't a very good ingredient in the serum even though they try to state it is an effective ingredient. The next one is Linalool. This is also an irritating ingredient. The next is fragrance for the same reasons. My experience with this serum was not bad at first. However my skin started feeling irritated after a few days. It started to burn a little.

Overall I don't recommend this product to people it is great with the amount of vitamin c and vitamin e but it has a few irritating ingredients that damage the skin. I wont purchase this product in the future. This is $48- $72. You can purchase this at Sephora.

Freeman Facial Polishing Mask Charcoal and Black Sugar

Ive been using this face mask for a month now and it is a really good detoxfying mask. When you first look at this product it has a black color to it that goes to a transparent grey color on the skin. It has a thick texture to it and is very grainy. This product has a lot of sugar in it and its great for exfoliating. However if you have sensitve skin use with caution. This is a very grainy exfoliant so be careful with it if you have sensitive skin.

With all of my reviews I touch base on the ingredients. The 3rd ingredient in this product is carbon. This ingredient is the activated charcoal. Im impressed that charcoal is the 3rd ingredient, it makes this an effective product for detoxifying. There is banana extract in this, which is a weak antioxidant. There is coconut extract a well, which is a cleansing ingredient. The papaya extract is a form of exfoliant. The raspberry extract is a antibacterial ingredient. It could cause some irritation.

The bad ingredients in this are fragrance, Which causes irritation. There is also lavender which is an irritant. The sandalwood extract in this can cause irritation and skin allergies. The ginger in this can be an irritant to skin.

Overall this product is not the best but its not the worst. Even with all of the bad ingredients, I feel like the ingredients are too low on the list to cause irritation. I do like this product it makes my skin feel smooth. I havent seen a difference in my pore size, however after I use this they look smaller due to the exfoliation. I do like this product, I dont like the smell but it is a good product. I would recommend this. This is no more than $4. You can get this at Ulta, Rite Aid, and other drugstores.

Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Concentrate REVIEW!!

I've been wanting to try out the Fresh line. This was one that caught my attention with the black tea.  Green tea is great for the skin both consumed and applied. This eye cream claims to help with dark circles, puffiness and illuminate and revive tired eyes.

I will start my personal review by saying that eye creams are not necessary. If your face cream is gentle enough for your face, it will be good enough for the eye area. Eye creams are a marketing gimmick, however i put that view aside when trying this. One thing that is bad about this product is the packaging. This comes in a jar, all of the vitamins in this will break down with the presence of air. When you keep opening and closing the jar, it decreases the effectiveness with the important antioxidants. While we're talking about ingredients, you would think this brand wouldn't have so many ingredients that are synthetic. This contains more preservatives than beneficial ingredients.  There are plant oils that are fragrant, which is not good for the eye area because it is too irritating. This is a thick cream that does hydrate and moisturize the eye area. There are many creams that hydrate and moisturize the same as this. It's lacking all of the beneficial ingredients that it claims helps the eye area.

Overall this is an overpriced eye cream that is not rich in the beneficial ingredients that are necessary. I'm glad I only got a sample of this product and did not buy this full sized product. I don't plan on buying a full size of this.

May Favorites!!!!

Hello, its that time where I tell you all my favorites of the month. I've tried some new products that were some hits, not all of my new products made it to this list but some did. So lets get started.

1. Freeman Facial Polishing Mask Charcoal and Black Sugar. This is a drugstore mask that is a detoxifying mask that also exfoliates the skin. This is a thick paste like mask that has a lot of sugar in it. This has charcoal in it which is the ingredient that helps clear out the pores. There are some ingredients that are a little questionable. However this mask is a great drugstore find. I will do a review on this later on.

2. Eva NYC therapy treatment hair mask. This is a new hair treatment mask that ive been using. this is a thinner mask then the cholesterol, which I think is better. The cholesterol I feel helped but I think because it was a thick formula it couldn't penetrate into the hair as much. I will do a review on this product later on.

3. Too Faced the Chocolate solei Bronzer. Ive been really into contouring lately and Ive been using this a lot lately. It blends well and it is a great color.

4. Nars Blush in the shade Deepthroat. aside from the name this blush is beautiful for this time. This is a great blush for the spring time/ summer time. Its a peachy pink blush with some shimmer in it. It looks great on my skin tone and it blends well.

5. Naked 3 Palette. Ive been using this palette so much lately. It has rose gold shades and it looks great on almost all skin tones. The shadows blend well and they are very pigmented. The brush is perfect for the eyeshadows as well.

6. Sephora Rouge Shine lipstick. Ive been using this a lot. It is so moisturizing and it has great pigment. I highly recommend this product.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark circles Concealer REVIEW!!

This is a concealer that has been talked about by almost every beauty guru. This is a concealer that comes in a twist cap tube. It has a sponge tip applicator that you apply directly on the skin. They have 6 different shades.

I purchased this product in the lightest shade. I like to use my concealer as a highlight. I apply this in a triangle under my eyes, cupid bow, sides of my nostrils, bridge of my nose and my inner forehead. The lightest shade wasn't too light it was just a shade darker than my foundation, which is a couple shades darker than my natural skintone. The spongetip applicator is very soft and it apply product without taking makeup off or leaving too much behind. It doesn't blend it out so I use my beauty blender to blend into my skin. Its hard to see how much product you have dispersed when looking at it. if you pushed too much out you wouldn't know. The coverage of this is almost full. I wouldn't consider it full because it didn't fully cover my pimple. However this has perfect coverage with undereyes, it conceals the undereyes and doesn't settle into creases. This product would be better if you got to see how much product came out. And if it concealed more.

But I overall like this product and will continue to repurchase. This product is $8. You can find it at target, walmart, Ulta, Cvs, or any other drug store.

GlamGlow Super Mud clearing treatment REVIEW!!

There are three different GlamGlow products as far as face masks. There is a black, blue and white. The one I am reviewing is the white one. I have been trying to get rid of my blackheads and to help lessen the appearance of my large pores. I used this mask as a spot treatment, only on my nose, inner cheek area, and the chin. When I applied this it felt very cooling. It wasn't really tingly. When this dries it looked as if it drew out the oil in my pores. You can see a difference where the mask dried and where my pores were.

As far as the ingredients go. There is peppermint oil in this product which gives it the cooling sensation. Peppermint oil is a common skin irritant. This tightens pores temporarily however this damages skin cells by irritating them. This causes more wrinkles, sagging and loss of collagen production. This product does however contain salicylic, lactic, and glycolic acid. Which helps with collagen production, temporarily pore reduction, and it helps with anti aging. However in this product not enough is present to do much. Another point to consider is the packaging. This is jar packaging so the beneficial ingredients will turn unstable after opening and closing it. Another issue I would like to address is there is a lot of fragrance. This is also irritating to the skin and it causes the skin to decrease in the amount of collagen, more wrinkles, and sagging. As well as oily skin can get more oily with irritation to the skin.

Overall I would not recommend this product. There really are no plus to using this product. It is irritating to the skin and it could cause aging. The price of this product is ridiculous for the quality and eh amount you get. It is $69 and you can get it from sephora.

My new favorite homemade facial recipe!!

I love making my own facial masks because it is cheaper and they are effective. I personally have large pores and blackheads in my inner cheek area, nose, chin and inner forehead. I want to use products that target this issue. However I also have dry skin and I have some sensitivities to my skin. The ingredients I used are 3 aspirin, honey, and sour cream.

1. Aspirin. Most people don't know that aspirin and salicylic acid are derived from willowbark. With this being said when you use aspirin in your skin care routine it is equivalent to salicylic acid. I use the uncoated kind, however you can use the coated ones. It just takes longer for them to dissolve. I take 3 aspirin pills and put a little bit of water on them. This helps them dissolve and makes it easier to apply to the skin.

2. Honey. Honey is a great ingredient for EVERY single skin type and condition. This ingredient is anti microbial, anti bacterial, and it helps the skin hold onto moisture. This makes it great for people with acne prone skin and dry skin. People who use drying products like benzoyl peroxide and retinol/ retin a products would benefit from this ingredient in their skin care routine.

3. Sour cream. This is meant for the base of this mask. This ingredient is soothing but at the same time it works great at exfoliating the skin. This has lactic acid in it, so it exfoliates gently while brightening the skin.  I put about a tablespoon or two in this.

Once when these are combined I apply it on clean dry skin and leave it on for 20 minutes. When removing it, I use circular motions with my fingers and gently rub this off. I don't use anything other than my fingers to remove it just because I don't want to irritate the skin.

WARNING!!! If you are using retin a consider just using honey and not the exfoliants. Also if you have had any waxing or microdermabrasion done wait a little bit and don't use this within a week of your appointment.

Shu Uemura lightbulb foundation REVIEW!!

I received this product and was thrilled to try it.  The first thing that I noticed was this is a liquid, very liquidy foundation. I applied it on the skin and it has a yellow undertone to it. Once when I had an even layer all over it had a medium coverage and a semi matte finish. I wore this foundation all day and it made me look oily throughout my whole face, even on my dry areas like the cheek. I set this so many times. However it lasted the whole time. It creased slightly in my smile lines but most foundations will. This product smells like it has fragrance in it and it also doesn't have sunscreen in it. This only comes in 8 shades and it also comes with a sponge. This is $55 and you can get it at shuuemura-USA.com.

Pros
- medium coverage
- comes with sponge
- liquid
- lasted all day long

Cons
- skin was oily throughout the day
- Yellow based
- expensive
- hard to find
- fragrance

Overall I don't love this foundation but it's not bad. It has good coverage and it lasts long. I don't like how fragranced it is and it left me shiney. I would not buy this foundation and I would give it a 4/10

Loreal Voluminous Lashes Mascara REVIEW!!

This is one of my go to products, when I run out I know that this is a good one. This mascara comes in both regular and water proof. This lengthens the lashes and slightly thickens them. I prefer black mascaras and this one is truly black. It makes the lashes pop and helps lengthen them. The brush is a standard bristle brush, this is one of my favorite brushes because its not too big for my eyes and I can apply it on my bottom eyelashes without a problem. As far as how this compares to Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara, It doesn't thicken the lashes as much as the better than sex mascara. However I do feel like the length is similar. They both don't irritate my eyes.  Although this isn't my favorite mascara, it is a very good mascara. It lengthens the lashes and makes them look better. It also doesn't cause any irritation to my eyes. The price of this is around $7. You can find this at Walmart, Target, Ulta, and any drugstore.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation Combination/Oily REVIEW!!

I have realized that my nose and inner cheek area get oily after a few hours of wearing makeup. I thought that it was because of the types of foundations that I buy. I usually buy dry skin products. I have been trying to use more products directed towards more oily skin types. This foundation was the start of my experimenting. I purchased this because I heard that it was a nice full coverage drugstore foundation. My first thought on this was the consistency. Its a lot more thick than the foundations that I have tried. This has a medium to full coverage that is buildable. It leaves your skin looking a little dewy. Its not matte but its not dewy all the way. Its a mixture between both. This foundation clams to last 24hrs. I didn't have this on my skin for that long but for the time that I had it on it lasted throughout the whole day. I did find a new breakout after I washed this off. Im not sure if its because I switch up my face products or if it was because of this foundation. The color selection isn't bad, its not as good as some but they have quite a few selections there. One thing I didn't like about this foundation was the packaging. It is in a clear bottle that has a screw on cap. You have to pour this foundation out. They have a lot of yellow based foundations and not too much neutral toned ones. After wearing this for hours I didn't feel as if my skin looked too oily. It looked a lot better with this foundation than any other foundation. This is $10 and you can findit at any department, drugstore, and Ulta. I highly recommend this product for someone who needs more coverage and a long lasting foundation. This product left my skin looking flawless all day long with no increase in oil production.

My March favorites!!!

1. Olays 4-in-1 cleansing cloths for sensitive skin. These cloths come with soap in the fibers and when you wet them they start to lather. These are excellent at removing all of the makeup and dirt. These are about $6

2. Vanedo Sheet masks korea. I purchased these through amazon. You open these up and put the sheet over your face. Normally when I use these or makeup removing wipes they have no product on them. 3. kao megurhythm Steam Hot eye mask. I also purchased these on amazon. These aren't really meant for beauty but they are relaxing. These are self heating and they last 10 minutes. You open the mask up and put it on and it instantly starts to heat. These were $15 for 15

Cheap teeth whitening at home

I have seen many teeth whitening kits that you can do at home. They are all so expensive and I don't have a ton of money to spend on teeth whitening. I have noticed that my teeth look whiter and less stained when I do my routine.

1. I first rinse my mouth with hydrogen peroxide. This product is what is in most teeth whitening products. I rinse my mouth with this for 1 minute and them spit out.

2. Brush your teeth. I like to use arm and hammer tooth paste because it contains baking soda and peroxide, which will give you a brighter and lighter smile. I brush my teeth for 1-2 minutes and then rinse.

3. If you have very stained teeth consider using a mouthwash that will lighten them as well. Cest has one that is good. I would use mouthwash once a day preferably in the morning.

4. If you want more stain removal, put baking soda on your tooth brush and then brush them. Stay away from your gums because this might irritate them.

5. If they are still not as white as you want them, then you should ask your dentist to lighten them for you, or consider investing in the teeth whitening kits for home.

After about 2 days you should see a little bit of a difference. Keep in mind this doesn't work overnight. This is an ongoing process that you have to continue with for a while to see dramatic differences.

NYX Jumbo Eye pencils REVIEW!!

Nyx's Jumbo Eye pencils were very popular a couple years ago on youtube. Almost everyone had one. Now I feel other companies picked up on that ad they created their own eye pencils. Nyx's Pencils have a wide variety of color selecton. Their most popular one is milk. which Is a great base for making eyeshadows their true color. The consistacy of this product is the best Ive had. They are creamy and they don't cake up. However you need an eye base with this because they crease. That is personally a big problem. I have found other eye pencils that do the same thing and they don't need an eye base. The pigmentation is not great with this product, you need to apply at least 2-3 layers of this product for it to be its true color. Rimmel London came out with a scandal eyes eyeshadow crayon, Victorias Secret had them, not sure if they still have them though, Hard Candy also has a couple, Elf, Covergirl has Shadow Slicks. The point is there are many brands that carry the same product. Nyx's Color selection trumps all of these other ones. However with these new formulations they have built in a primer into some of them. Which is a big plus to the NYX Jumbo eye pencils. Overall I love NYX's Jumbo Eye Pencils. Im unsure of why they are such a big hit other than their fabulous color selections. They are not long lasting ad they crease on their own. To prevent this from happening you need to apply another base. But these are a great addition to any beauty experts collection. Just try the other ones and see if they compare. This product is $4.50. You can find this brand at Ulta, cherryculture.com, and NYX website.

Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle revival mud mask first impression REVIEW!!

The first thing I noticed about this product was the packaging. This comes in a jar and it comes with 3.88oz. This is a grey mousse product with little beads in it. This product is suppose to purify and unclog pores, its suppose to exfoliate, target fine lines and wrinkles, help with age spots, and detoxify the skin. this product contains Manuka Honey, which helps hydrate the skin. Green Tea, an antioxidant that helps neutralize the damage present in your skin, such as age spots, lines and wrinkles, and it helps firm the skin. It contains mushroom extracts which have been proven to provide the same as the green tea. The Beta Glucans are skin soothing and are proven to reduce redness. It contains extracts of Resurrection Plant that stimulates cellular renewal. This product is great. The ingredients are good at what they say they do. There isn't any ingredients that counteract them. This feels smooth on the skin and a little goes a long way with this product. You let it sit on for 15 minutes. When you rinse this off you want to rub in circular motions to remove, this is going to help exfoliate the skin. This is good at absorbing oil. I haven't seen any other difference but I will keep posting about this. It made my skin feel very smooth. You are suppose to use this product up to 2 times a week. This is $38 and you can find it at Sephora. I loved what it di to my skin an so far I would suggest it.

Bare minerals Deep Cleansing Foam REVIEW!!

A cleanser is suppose to cleanse the face and get rid of dirt, makeup and other debris. It wont remove everything which is why a toner is used after. However finding a cleanser that works well at removing a bulk of makeup.

This cleanser states that it is nondrying and it will deep clean your pores. It also says it has 100% Pure ActiveSoil Complex. It says it refreshes skin and it gives it an instant glow. The Activesoil compex is suppose to be an antioxidant and it increases cell renewal rate. Its 'Clinically' proven to give brighter smoother and younger looking skin. it also is suppose to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It also has electrolytes in it that are suppose to help with moisture retention. There Statistics for this product are: 84% saw an overall improvement in the skins appearance. 90% felt their skin was softer and smoother. 72% of people felt their pores looked smaller and more refined. This was based on a study including 50 women.

My personal opinion on this is not as great as the claims say it is. First I would like to start with the ingredients. One ingredient that I avoid is lavender oil. Lavender Oil is damaging to skin because it irritates the skin. It also contains alcohol. Certain types of alcohol are too drying for the skin, and other types are not bad for the skin. This cleanser contains the kind that is going to damage the skin. With the lavender oil added to this cleanser, it further irritates the skin thus causing more problems for sensitive skin and people looking to minimize aging. I would also like to touch base on the Active Soil Complex. There is no such thing of this. Its just dirt! Also the ingredients that are suppose to cleanse your face are common skin drying ingredients. They are found in bar soaps. When I used this I liked the texture because it is creamy. However this left my skin feeling like it had film over it. It didn't remove any of my makeup and Im sure I still had dirt on my face. This product even made my hands feel like I had a layer of film over them. I can honestly say I would never recommend this product and I was very dissappointed in it. I would give this cleanser a 0/10. It couldn't even remove my makeup and dirt. It had a horrible texture on the face and it had some really bad ingredients in it. You can find this at Sephora, Ulta, bareminerals Store and online, and Amazon.com. This is $20.

Benefits Bad Gal Lash Mascara REVIEW!!

I received a sample of this product from Sephora. And I have to say when I looked at the brush I didn't know if I was going to like this, the brush is a little on the bigger side. But when I tried it, I would never change a thing about it. The brush was perfect with my lashes. I felt like it really lengthened them and it made them look like they had volume and thickness. The formula is not extremely wet but its not dry its in the middle. Which I like, I feel like I have more control over the brush and the lashes. This only comes in black, which I think that women should only wear black (my opinion). This comes in a mini size which is .14oz and it is $10 and then it has a .3oz which is $19. You can find this at Ulta, Sephora, or online.

Pros
- Perfect formula for what I like
- Gives great volume and thickness
- Good brush

Cons
- Price, $20 is a lot for a mascara
- Can only get it at Ulta or Spehora or online.

Overall this is a great mascara, its one of my favorites. Its not my favorite but its one of them. It doesn't clump and it lengthens and thickens lashes beautifully. I give this product a 9/10 only because there is a better mascara. Leave a comment below and guess which mascara is my favorite.

Queen Helene Cholesterol Hair Conditioning cream REVIEW!!

I have damaged hair due to coloring and from styling my hair. With all of the damage, my hair was tangled and snarly. When I woke up in the morning I would wake up to the underneath of my hair knotted. I even tried braiding it and it still got knotted. I wanted to get my hair back to looking healthy and shiny. I not only took off 1 1/2  of an inch of hair. I also put layers in my hair. But I have to say that this product has helped my hair soo much.

I have to say the ingredients are to the minimum with this product. Cholesterol is the 7th ingredient, almost at the bottom of the list. However there is no alcohol and it is light on the fragrance. I still don't like the smell but I still use it. This doesn't leave hair limp and lifeless. It doesn't leave residue behind. And it easily washes out. I have used oil in the past and it didn't wash out good at all. I always had a layer of it left over my hair.

I decided that I would do a weekly hair treatment after I cut my hair, so it will maintain the look of nice hair. This product did wonders on my hair, I don't have too many knots in my hair anymore. My hair is still frizzy but the tangles are 85% less. I would brush my hair and get the tangles out, and distribute oil down to the ends of the hair. I will then Use this product on the ends of my hair working up. I put this on my hair up to my ears. I continue up the rest of my hair until all of the ends are coated and my layers are saturated. I put my hair up in a huge bun on my hair. I sleep with it in and then wash it out in the morning. You can put this in for as long as you want. You don't need to sleep with it to get benefits. You can also put a bonnett on and put heat over it. The heat helps it absorb quicker and deeper into the hairs cuticle. This product is around $5 and you can get it at sallys beauty supply, Drugstores, and amazon

Pros
-Thick and creamy texture
- Doesn't leave hair limp
- Moisturizes hair
- Helps tame knotts
- Rinses out easily

Cons
- Smell
- messy on clothes

Overall this is a great conditioning cream. I would recommend this to everyone who wants a little more shine and moisture back into their hair. This helped so much with my knots and I will continue to repurchase this product. I give this a 9/10

Favorites of Febuary!!

This is going to be a little different. I want to share what my favorites of this month are. This is not going to be repetitive, I have tried some new products this month and these are what i have been in love with.

1. Vitamin C serum. I've been using Eb5's vitamin booster serum. It is $20 but I got it on sale for $6. Its great at getting rid of redness. Helping fade dark spots and fine lines and wrinkles.

2.  Sephora's The perfectionist makeup sponge. This is a immitation of the beauty blender. I have not used the beauty blender but this one is great at blending and its really good at covering the face without leaving streaks.

3. Queen Helene Cholesterol cream. I use this at least once a week for my hair conditioning treatment. This really helps soften the hair and it helps hydrate. My hair was very frizzy and snarly until i found this product now my hair is 1/3 of what it was before.

4. PMD, Personal Microderm. This can be used on the face and on the body. I use this when Im not usin glycolic or retinol.

5. Josie Maran Aragan Oil. I feel like this has helped my dark circles and my fine lines. I found myself reaching for it more for my moisturizer.

6. Alpha Hydrox Retinol ResQ. This product is great for aging. I think its best at getting rid of fine lines. I haven't seen a difference with my pore size but im looking to prevent aging.

7. Alpha Hydrox 12% Glycolic. This is great at removing dead skin cells and helps products penetrate deeper..

8. Clairol Shimmer lights shampoo and conditioner. This works really well if you have brassiness color to your hair. This helps neutralize it.

9. Olays 4 in 1 cleansing cloths. These remove makeup and dirt well. They come dry and have the cleanser in the cloth when you wet it. They get nice and foamy.

That was all of myfavorites for the month. I would love for you guys to tell me your favorites for the month.

All about Vitamin C Serums

Everyone has heard about the amazing benefits of a vitamin c serum. It helps diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles, it helps lighten dark spots due to acne and sun damage, it helps boost collagen production which helps firm skin, and it evens skin tone. However most people don't find a vitamin c serum that is effective at doing all of these things. This is going to be everything you need to know about a good vitamin c serum.

How does it work?
Vitamin C is an antioxidant, and they are proven to neutralize free radicals in the skin. Free radicals are what causes dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles, loss of collagen and elastin, and uneven skin tone. Free radicals are caused by the sun, pollution, smoking, and alcohol. When you apply antioxidants to the skin, this is going to prevent all of this damage, and reverse it. You will see results in at the most 2 weeks. You will notice a difference in the texture of your skin, after a month you sould notice lightening of pigment and a decrease in fine lines and wrinkles.

When should I apply Vitamin C serum?
You can apply vitamin c serum morning and night before your moisturizer. If you are a glycolic and retinol  user like me, you can use it in the morning. I prefer that just because I don't want to keep layering products. Applying Vitamin C in the morning is very beneficial because it will help neutralize free radicals during the day and this antioxidant increases the effectiveness of your sunscreen. When you apply Vitamin C at night it is more of a repair because there is no free radical damage at night.

Myths about Vitamin C
- Vitamin C exfoliates the skin. This is FALSE. This does not exfoliate the skin, it is a serum that penetrates into the skin delivering antioxidant defense against free radical damage.

-Vitamin C shouldn't be used with retinol or glycolic acid because it deactivates it. This is FALSE. Vitamin C shouldn't interfere with any of these products. It can and should be used with them. I personally use the vitamin C during the day and glycolic and retinol at night time.

- Vitamin C is not meant for sensitve or acne prone skin. This is FALSE. Vitamin C serum is great for all skin types. You will see more even skin tone and lighteneing of acne scars with the vitamin c serum.

What to look for in a Vitamin C Serum

With Vitamin C you want to look at the ingredients and see if the vitamin c is within the first 5 ingredients. This includes ascorbic acid, L-ascorbic acid, Magnesium Ascorbal Phosphate. If you see these ingredients in the first 5 then you have a good source of vitamin c. You also want to steer away from fragranced serums, anything with lavender and rosemary. These are skin irritants and it would defeat the purpose of using a serum. It would be good if the vitamin C serum had more antioxidants like vitamin e, which would look like tocopherol Acetate on the ingredient list, you also need to find a vitamin c serum in an airtight pump or an eyedropper bottle that is dark. Vitamin C oxidizes in the light. Your vitamin C will start turning a dark color and that is when it is oxidized and it wouldn't be effective anymore. Any Vitamin C that comes in a jar or in a clear bottle it won't be effective.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Cleanser REVIEW!!

This cleanser is very creamy and it is very moisturizing. However this does leave an oily feeling on the skin after. I feel like this doesn't take makeup off very good. I would rather have a cleanser that takes makeup and dirt off my face. This product does contain fragrance, since it gets rinsed off it is alright I still prefer non fragranced products on my skin. The amount of vitamin e is very minimal. This cleanser can be compared to Ponds cold cream. This is meant for people with normal to dry skin. This would make oily skin feel more oily. This is $15 and you can get it at Ulta and thebodyshop.com

Pros
- creamy and nondrying

Cons
- Doesn't take the makeup off and cleanse the skin enough
- Oily feel after
- Expensive when you can get ponds cold cream, which is the same texure
-fragrance is present

Overall this cleanser is very basic. I am not in love with this cleanser my got to have it cleanser is CeraVe's. This cleanser has an oily feeling after and it doesn't remove my makeup so that is why it will get a 3/10.

Eb5 Vitamin C Booster Serum REVIEW!!

I decided to try this because it was on sale for 5 dollars and the ingredients sound pretty good. I want to first say with Vitamin C serums you need to look and see where the vitamin c is on the ingredients list. The first form of it is the 5th ingredient. Its ideal that it be in the first 3 but I also heard the first 5. There is also 3 other forms of it and there is Vitamin E, however these are too far down to affect the skin. There is also glycerin, which helps moisturize the skin. My first reaction to this product was it is liquidy. It also is slightly yellow, when vitamin c turns a dark amber color it is not good anymore. This is still effective but its time is limited. I like this vitamin c serum because it makes my skin feel tighter. Its only temporary but it feels nice. However my face feels dry after using this, so I use my Argan Oil right after. This is a great serum for after microdermabrasions because the products get penetrated deeper so the vitamin c can really soak into the skin and deposit its benefits. Vitamin c serums help fade dark spots, help the skins production of collagen, minimizes fine lines, brightens skin tone, minimizes redness, and protects the skin for free radical damage. Free radicals are what causes fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, and loss of collagen and elasticity. Free radicals come from sun exposure, pollution, smoking, and alcohol. You can prevent free radical damage from using sunscreen. Vitamin c helps boost the effectiveness of the sunscreen.

Pros
- Great for lightening dark spots, collagen, and finelines
-Helps tighten the skin temporarily
- boosts collagen production
- good price

Cons
- Drying
- Vitamin C is a little low. Prefer it to be within top 3 ingredients
- I got it a little oxidized but its not ruined.

I do like this vitamin c serum. I have only tried 2 other vitamin c serums and this one falls in the middle. this is a great product and I would love to try more vitamin c serums to see if this one still holds up. I would give this one a 7/10.

Simple Moisturizing Face Wash REVIEW!!

This is a gel liquid texture. Which I personally don't like. I like creamy cleansers because they don't leave the skin tight and dry. This cleanser comes in a squeeze tube. This cleanser states that it has Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E. This cleanser is great at removing makeup and cleansing the skin. This cleanser says it is moisturizing however it doesn't moisturize. I like to use this cleanser if I have heavy eye makeup on and before doing microderms. Even though there are tons of benefits with the ingredients Vitamin B5 and E. This cleanser gets rinsed off so the benefits are not effective. They would have to stay on the skin. This cleanser doesn't contain fragrance, so it is good for people with sensitive skin. This is a basic cleanser. This is $4.99 for 5 oz. You can find this at target, and walmart.

pros
- Removes makeup great
- Cheap
- No fragrance
- Great packaging

Cons
- Gel texture is drying
- Benefits don't stay on the skin

Overall this cleanser is a good basic cleanser. I would recommend this product to younger individuals who have acne and sensitive skin. This is a good fragrance free cleanser that gets rid of makeup. This is perfect for microdermabrasions. I would give this cleanser a 7/10.

PMD personal microderm pro REVIEW!!

Basic information
This is a handheld piece of equipment that is suppose to give you the same effects that a microderm at a spa would give. I have been trained to use micodermabrasion equipment. From someone who is trained, I know what to look for and what causes alarm. Im not saying you have to be licsensed to know how to properly use this, however if you have no idea about microdermabrasions then I highly suggest you don't purchase this. Microdermabrasion exfoliates the stratum corneum, which is the outer most layer of the skin. Doing so causes the skins inner layers to respond and produce more cells. The benefits of using microdermabrasion is: appearance of smaller pores, increase in collagen, lighten hyperpigmentation (age apots, freckles, and acne scars),and softens wrinkles.

About the product
This comes with 4 facial discs, 3 body discs, a body cap, a facial cap, filter, rechargeble cord, and a dvd. The discs are made of aluminum oxide crystals. The facial discs are white, blue, green, and red. The white one is the training disc, the blue is meant for people with sensitve skin, the green is for people with normal skin, and red is for people who can tolerate a lot. Each disc is good for about 4 uses. The same is for the body discs except for the training disc. Its important to work your way up or you can damage your skin. Some people who try out the stronger discs right away can expect to get some burns, cuts, and/or raw skin. You can get lucky and walk away with nothing but I highly advise working your way up. A good thing about this product is it is rechargeable. You won't have to keep putting batteries in it. In order to use this you have to plug it in and use it while its plugged in. you should watch the DVD and read the pamphlet before using this. Without reading you can compromise your skin. Its very important to clean this product after every use. To ensure bacteria won't grow and that it won't break.

How this product works
You want to first prep your skin for the microderm. You want to use a gel or liquid cleanser that will leave no oil, residue or makeup. You want to make sure your skin is dry and has no moisture in it because if it does, the skin will not lift as easily off the skin. Next you want to plug in the cord and put it in the handheld device. This is what makes the product work. The discs are made from aluminum oxide crystals, which exfoliate the skin. As well as the suction. This device sucks at the skin which is what helps with the collagen production. This has 2 speeds, when you feel like your skin can handle more you can use the fast speed. I recommend using the lowest speed and the white disc for your first time. With your first time you want to do no more than 2 passes on the skin. You also don't want to hover in one area. If you do, you could cause damage to the skin. With the 2 passes I recommend you do one full pass over the face and neck in verticle motions and then the 2nd pass in horizontal. This is going to maximize the amount of coverage and the amount of dead skin that will come off. After microdermabrasion you want to use really good ingredients because it will penetrate better into the skin. I would recommend using vitamin c after use and also a really good moisturizer. Make sure you use SPF 30 or more after, and don't go in the sun.

What and when to avoid
In order for the results to keep getting better there are certain things to avoid before and after using this. One of the most important things to avoid 48 hours before and after is vitamin a. This means Retin A or any other retinol products need to be avoided. As well as chemical exfoliants. Glycolic, Lactic, and Salicylic acids need to be stopped 48 hours before and after because they exfoliate the skin, further exfoliation can cause damage to the skin. Antibiotics that say photosensitive on the label. This means that your skin is sensitve to the sun and need to use sunscreen. Any chemical peels at home should be avoided before and after. You need to make sure that you use sunscreen everyday of at least 30. You also need to avoid sun as much as possible. You can use this once a week, anything more can be damaging. Anyone between the ages 12 to 65 can use this product. Anyone over 65 can use it, however their skin could bruise more easily. Without following these guidelines, you can cause scarring, and raw skin. Its normal to have redness and slight burning after using this product. It should go away after a few hours.

My thoughts
This product is great it does the same thing as microdermabrasion systems. However if you have no idea what you are doing, this could be damaging to your skin. This is not suppose to work overnight. This takes time and cannot be used too much. I tried the wihte disc first and it worked great, I just started using the blue one and it caused a little bit more redness but that is normal. The 2 speeds on it are nice, your skin can keep getting more and more results when it adjusts to stronger treatments. People need to pay attention to the different caps. If you use the discs and the cap for the face, you could damage your skin with scars and burns. This product is great for people with hyperpigmentation, whether its acne scars or age spots. This will help lighten them. Deep acne pits and scars won't be affected that much though. You would have to look into dermabrasion, which involves a more deep exfoliation of the skin and only doctors can do it. You can purchase this product online at personalmicroderm.com. It is $199. There is another one for $179.

Pros
- increases collagen production
- helps with age spots and acne acars
- minimizes fine lines
- helps products penetrate more into the skin
- can do it in your home rather than going to a spa

Cons
- If not used right, damage can be done to the skin
- could cause scarring and raw skin if used inappropriately
- Need to be cautious of what products to use during and after

Overall this is a great product for someone that has age spots and acne scars. I would consider using something else if you are trying to get rid of wrinkles. This product is excellent for younger girls who want to help with acne scars and prevent aging. You need to make sure that you wear your sunscreen everyday and avoid the sun when nessecary. I would give this product a 9/10.

CHI Keratin Mist Leave in Strengthening Treatment REVIEW!!

This product comes in a spray bottle and it has 12 oz. of product. The claims on this product are it strengthens hair, cationic hydrations locks in moisture, rebuilds the hairs inner structure, adds shine, provides protection and manageability. I do believe this product helps to strengthen the hair. It is proven that proteins help give fine hair a little more thickness and keratin is protein found in the hair, skin, and nails. This product doesn't really lock in moisture, I have very frizzy hair and that means there isn't enough moisture. As far as rebuilding the hairs inner structure. There is no way you can do that. The inner layer is called the cortex. When you color/chemically straighten/curl your hair, the main objective is to lift the cuticle and penetrate the cortex. When you continually do that for a period of time, the hair starts to get damaged and it starts to break or split. The damage is inevitable. You can't reverse the damage. The only thing to do is mask it and use products that help seal it or cut it which gets rid of the damage. I do believe that this product will help prevent damage and will give the appearance of reducing damage. This adds some shine, not alot like shine sprays do but it gives a little bit of shine. This product doesn't protect the hair against heat. It says it protects the hair but it doesn't say if it protects it from heat. I have very snarly hair that gets tangled easily. This product helps manage the tangles but doesn't get rid of them entirely. I still find that after I use this product I get tangles in my hair. This product smells like most of their products. It smells like mens cologne. I personally love the smell and it fades with this product. This product is $12. You can get it at Target, jcpenney salon, any other salons, and online

Pros
- helps make hair softer
- makes hair a little more shiny
- manages knots more

Cons
- Doesn't protect against heat
-Doesn't repair damage only helps to prevent damage
- Doesn't do an amazing job in any of the products claim

Overall This product doesn't do a great job. It does make my hair softer and more shiny. I bought this product to give my fine hair a little more thickness and it didn't do that. I also wanted something that would help with tangles. This helps but it doesn't do an amazing job and on top of that there were a few misleading claims. I would give this product a 5/10. its so so. I can probably find something better.

Alpha Hydrox Foot & problem area cream REVIEW!!

This cream is designed for feet and for other areas that need an exfoliation. I have been using this on my face, my other glycolic cream wasn't giving me enough tingle so I wanted to try this one. My previous one was from the same brand and it was 10%, this cream is 12%. The claims on this product are fragrance free, absorbs quickly, provides extra exfoliation and moisture for skin, proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, daily use prevents build up of thick, rough, and damaged skin. Let me begin with the packaging. This comes in a 2 oz. tube. Which is good to keep everything fresh inside the bottle. The product is a white cream. When I apply this on my face it feels tingly almost immediately, this feeling is normal and it will go away after a few minutes. Other things that are normal are redness and itching. However what is not normal is burning. If you experience burning then don't use this product. The tingle isn't necessary but it indicates that it is working. I can honestly say I feel a difference in my skin. It feels more smooth and I noticed my smile lines are less apparent. I do get lines on my neck and on my forehead occasionally due to expressions. and this will help get rid of those. This product does absorb quickly, I wait about 2 minutes for this to dry for me to put my retinol on. I had some dry skin on my forehead that was visible with foundation on and this product definitely helped get rid of those flakes. The fact that this is fragrance free is great, this product might irritate the skin and it being fragrance free helps. This product is not meant for people with sensitive skin. I have some sensitivities to my skin but I'm not extremely sensitive to products. I do use this product daily and I have seen a difference in my skin, it wasn't thick, rough or damaged before but it does give results. Sometimes I can't use my glycolics everyday because of my neck. Sometimes it burns and turns red. I stop using it for a couple of days and then start again. This doesn't have any antioxidants but its good. This is around $9 you can find it at Ulta, and amazon.

Pros
- 12% glycolic helps exfoliate
- Helps minimize fine lines and wrinkles
- good for people with dry sun damaged skin
-dries quickly

Cons
- Antioxidants are not present. would make it more beneficial
- Not meant for sensitive skin

This is a great glycolic acid cream. It is the perfect amount of exfoliation for my skin. This product doesn't contain antioxidants and it can't be used on sensitive skin, but it is great for the job and it is very effective. I would give this product an 8/10.

Benefits the Porefessional primer REVIEW!!

Primers in general are used under makeup and help create a smooth appearance to the skin. They help minimize pores, wrinkles, and fine lines. Some also contain sunscreen and mattifiers as well as some that lighten pigmentation and hydrate the skin. Benefits Porefessional Primer claims to reduce the size of pores and fine lines as well as help makeup last on the skin. It says you can use it underneath, alone, or above makeup. It also states that it is oil-free and has vitamin E. This product comes in a squeeze tube. It has a silky feel to it and it has a lemon scent. This looks like a light beige color and it goes on and blends into the skin tone. I have to say after I used this product I was amazed. It really does help minimize the pores. Its the best primer that I have used so far. It helps my foundations stay on longer than the other primers. The vitamin E is close to the bottom of the ingredient list which makes it uneffective in the skin. There is also fragrance in this primer, so if you have sensitive skin this might not be the best for you. As well as the lemon extract. This is a skin irritant. This primer doesn't help cancel out oil, so if you have oily skin, you might want to look for one that mattifys to help prevent oil. This Primer is $30 and you can get it at Ulta, Sephora, or Benefit Cosmetics.com.

Pros
- Helps minimize the appearance of pores
- Foundation stays on longer
- silky light weight feel on the skin
- blends into the skins color

Cons
- Contains fragrance
-Contains lemon extract
- Vitamin E is at the bottom of the ingredient list, so it is not effective

Overall I do like this primer it works very well. However due to the fact it contains fragrance and it has lemon extract in it, I would look around at other products. This does a great job at minimizing the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles so I will give this product a 7/10.

Olay Wet cleansing towelettes REVIEW!!

Olay has many cleansing cloths available, I've tried 3 of them. This is one that caught my attention because it is premoistened, it comes with 30 cloths, and it says it removes dirt and makeup from the eyes, face, and neck including waterproof. Whats really intriging about these cloths is you don't have to rinse this off. It doesnt contain any surfactants so you can wipe your face and be done. They have 2 different kinds, normal and sensitive. I chose the sensitive cloths because my skin does get irritated by fragrance, and this doesn't have fragrance. These are great cloths if you have light makeup on. I have tried using these with a full face makeup on and I have to say this did not do the job. I still have makeup on and I looked like a racoon after I was done wiping. I needed to cleanse with a cleanser in order to get my makeup off. I would love these cloths after a workout or in the morning when my face doesn't have a layer of makeup on. These cleansing cloths are fragrance free and alcohol free, which is perfect for people with sensitive skin. It says it has aloe vera and vitamin e in it, which is true but it doesn't have enough for any results. The second ingredient is glycerin which is helpful with hydration in your skin. these cloths are around $6 and you can find them at Ulta, target, walmart, walgreens, riteaid, any convenient stores.

Pros
- Has glycerin in it which helps hydrate the skin
- good cost for the amount
- you don't need to use the sink for these if you have light makeup
-fragrance free

Cons
- Doesn't efficiently remove makeup
- Aloe vera and Vitamin E are on the lower end of the ingredient list

Overall these cloths were a great idea. However they don't do what they are intended to do. They don't remove makeup and would probably not remove waterproof makeup. I do have to say these are great for the morning when you just need to get rid of sweat, and they are great after a workout. I would give these cloths a 4/10.

Alpha Hydrox's Retinol ResQ REVIEW!!

This is a retinol treatment that can be used for acne, aging, prevent aging, and minimizing oil and larger pores. Retinol works to speed up the cells turnover rate. This products claims are it has %15 vitamin A, which is retinol. It also has Vitamins C and E. It is fragrance and oil free. It lessens the look of fine lines and wrinkles and it tightens and firms. I first want to start my personal review on the packaging. The product comes in a white tube that keeps the air out. This is perfect for this formula because it keeps the vitamins from breaking down. Vitamins deterirate in the presence of air. The formula is a creamy moisturizer texture. It feels like a moisturizer. This is meant for all skin types, however if you have sensitive skin, this is not for you. It is oil free so it is perfect for oily skinned people. The vitamin c and e in this product are low in the ingredient list so they won't be very beneficial on the skin. There is glycerin in this product, so if you have dehydrated skin this will help replenish some of the loss of moisture. There is bisabolol in this, which is an anti-irritant. There is some paraben in this product so if you are trying to find products without, this is not for you. This product is only $14.99 and you can find it at Ulta.

Pros
- This effectively helps minimize fine lines and wrinkles.
- has antioxidants in it
- Oil free and fragrance free
-great packaging helps the ingredients stay effective

Cons
- not enough vitamin c and e

I am in love with this retinol cream. It is perfect for antiaging and repairing skin that has wrinkles. This product is helpful with acne as well. This has a few great ingredients. It could use more vitamin c and e in the formula. But generally this is a good cheap retinol cream that is very effective.
