Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Concealer REVIEW!!

This concealer comes in 9 different shades. I chose the lightest one. This concealer is thick but not as thick as Benefits Erase Paste. It has a creamy texture to it which allows it to blend nicely. This is fragrance-free and is meant for people with normal to oily skin. This product claims to prep, conceal, perfect, and set. It also claims to cover tattoos, dark circles and blemishes. This is a medium to full coverage concealer, I don't think its full coverage enough to conceal tattoos but I do feel like it conceals dark circles, blemishes and redness good. This is a build able concealer. It doesn't settle into fine lines as easily as other concealers do. This is $25 and you can find it at Sephora.

Pros
- Covers blemishes, dark spots and dark circles good
- fragrance free
- easy to blend
- doesn't settle into fine lines as easily as others

Cons
- Price
- Not entirely full coverage

Overall this concealer is great. If your looking for a product to help conceal imperfections this is your product. If your trying to cover up a tattoo, you would want something more full coverage like dermablends cover creme. If you have the money to spend, this is a good product to invest in.

Elfs clarifying pressed powder REVIEW!!

This is a compact pressed powder that comes in 7 shades. This product claims to have a flawless finish, absorbs oil,  and it prevents and treats skin imperfections. As to these claims, I would say that it is very lightweight. It doesn't cover very much, but that is due to the fact it is a powder. Powders give off the leaast amount of coverage. This product does absorb oil, however I will use this product to set my foundation and it will take off the shine, however it still gets a little oily in my T-Zone. This is a good touch up powder though due to the fact it is small and compact, however I will point out it does not have a mirror in the compact. So if you wanted to take this on the go you will need a mirror and a brush. This product is suppose to work at preventing and treating skin imperfections like acne, oil, and even large pores by using salicylic acid. The only downside to this is the salicylic acid is not effective in this form. It has to be in a liquid form because of the pH. You can't rely on this product to help with breakouts. None the less this powder is great. It has a good amount of mineral oil and petrolatum that gives the texture of this powder a smooth glide on feel. The price on this product is great. This is only $1 and you can get it at Target, Walmart, and eyeslipsface.com.

Pros
- good cheap powder
- small so you can fit it in your purse
- Good at setting foundations

Cons
- Not very pigmented
- Does not have a mirror in it, which you would need to pack one
- Salicylic Acid doesn't work if its in powder  form

Overal this is a great product to have and I will most likely continue to buy this. I give it a 9/10. Its cheap, and it helps set foundation.

Clinique face scrub for men REVIEW!!

This is a little different then my normal reviews. But for male viewers out there, I hope this is something you will enjoy reading. This product is in a squeeze tube package, so its very easy to use and its not messy. The claims on this product are its a preshave, reduces ingrown hairs, gets rid of flakes and oil, and it smooths and revives the skin. I will tell you all about my boyfriends thoughts on this product and then mine. He used this and felt like his face was clean. He said it felt good. Also he thought it left a cooling sensation on. He has not used it as a preshave because he got another kit which I will talk about in another review. Now for my thoughts on this product. This does exfoliate the skin well. I feel like this would benefit men and ingrown hairs. The reason why we get ingrown hairs is because the hair can't find its way out of the pore due to dead skin buildup, exfoliating is key to any place where you want to remove hair. This product didn't feel cool on my hand when I tried it. However I didn't use a normal amount of cleanser so that might make a difference on the feeling. I tried it on my face and it felt great, it has alot of beads in it so it exfoliates nicely. Its does feel tingly on and it feels very cooling. The beads in this are great. They are microbeads and they are not harsh for the skin. Some exfoliants made from nuts or seeds can leave micro tears in the skin and could cause acne. The difference between the two is microbeads have a circular shape and have rounded edges, which is good for exfoliating the skin because it won't be too harsh. The exfoliants made from seeds and nuts have sharper edges and leave micro tears in the skin. This didn't have a bad scent to it. It wasn't too fragranced. This is $20 and you can get it at Macys, Sephora, and clinique.com. Overall I would give this product an 8 for men. This is in a squeeze tube and it feels great on the skin. This helps exfoliate the skin which would be beneficial to men who shave a lot.

Tresemme fresh start dry shampoo REVIEW!!

I bought 2 different ones. Around 5 months ago I bought the one for dry hair. This time around I bought the one for fine/oily hair. The one I bought recently is suppose to absorb excess oil and give volume. I can honestly say I don't like tresemmes dry shampoos. They don't feel powdery, they feel more wet. I didn't think it made my hair less oily. I feel like it looked the same. This smells a little florally along with a hairspray scent. I don't particularly like the smell. There really wasn't a difference between both shampoos. I was very shocked that the one meant for oily hair didn't help with absorbing the oil. I thought it would be less liquidy and more powdery then the other one. You get 5.7 oz worth of product. Which is .7 oz more than what you would get from other dry shampoos. I prefer Doves dry shampoo over this one because it actually absorbs the oil and gives my hair volume and lifts the roots. Tresemmes dry shampoo is around $5.
You can find tresemmes dry shampoo at Walmart, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Target, and you can find it at Ulta. Overall I would give this product a 2/10. It doesn't do the job its suppose to. It doesn't absorb all oil and it doesn't help volumize my hair.

Essence All Eyes on me mascara REVIEW!!

This is a basic mascara. Its not a bad choice but its not a got to have it product. The claims on this product are it gives volume, curl, length, thickness and it seperates the lashes. This is also Ophthalmology tested. The brush is a basic brush, its not a big brush its more on the smaller side and it has an oval shape its similar to maybellines Great lash mascara. Its the pink bottle with the green top. The formula is wet but not too wet. This isnt waterproof, but they have one that is formulated waterproof. It does give my lashes volume and length but I can get more volume and length from better mascaras. As far as length goes I think it gives a little. Its very natural looking, I would prefer a more dramatic look. It doesn't do much with the curl, and I wouldn't expect it to.I feel like this mascara is good at keeping my lashes from clumping, it works well at keeping them seperated and looking nice. I would recommend  this product to younger girls who are just starting to use makeup. This is very basic and it would be a great start to anyone who wants to get into makeup. This is also good for people who work in an office and they don't want a dramatic look for during the day. This is $2.99, which is a bargain for what your getting. and you can get it at Ulta or at Essence.com. I would give this mascara a 5/10. Its pretty basic and it didn't thrill me. Its not the worst but it doesn't top some of the others I have tried. But for the price it is worth buying.

E.l.f Essential Lip stain REVIEW!!

This lip stain looks like a marker. It has a felt tip that has product on it. You apply this to dry clean lips. If you have a lip balm or anything moisturizing on the lips, then it can prevent the time this stays on the lips. This comes in 7 colors. I got the color pink petal. This color looks like a bright pink in the packaging, however on the lips it looks like a pinky red. If you are pale skinned like me, you might prefer this to a red lip. I find that red lips are tricky on my skintone. I choose the ones with  pink tone or the deep almost brown red. As far as the stay power of this lip stain, it is pretty good. It takes a good scrub to get this product off the lips. This definitely lasts through eating and drinking, it also doesn't transfer onto other people if you kiss them. The tip does sometimes run out so you have to hold it upside down for a little bit just to get it wet again. This was $2. You can get it at walmart, target, or eyeslipsface.com

Pros
-Staying power is great
-Good price for a lip stain
-Cool design for a lip stain

Cons
-Color looks different on then on the packaging
-Limited amount of colors in stores

Overall I was pleased with this product. I would like to find one that doesn't make the lips darker. This product had great longlasting capabilities, and  it was a good price. I didn't like how there weren't many colors available. But for the price it is worth it. I would give this product a 6/10 only because it isn't the color that I was expecting

Stilas One step corrector REVIEW!!

This is meant to be a primer and correct skin tone as well. This has a pump and is in a clear bottle. There are 3 helixes a red, green, and blue. These are what helps mask the tone in the skin. These colors work together to give the skin a more brighter complexion. This product feels great on the skin. I have dry skin and this is very hydrating. This doesn't leave an oily after feeling either. Its very lightweight and perfect for all skin types. I don't think the colors really helped cancel out any discoloration. I wanted to help block out the redness, but I feel like it didn't do much. As far as primer, I wasn't too impressed with how long lasting it was. This didn't make the foundation last long at all. It also didn't do anything for my pores. My pores looked the same. This is $36. You can pick this up at Sephora, Ulta, and Stilascosmetics.com.

Pros
-Feels moisturzed without oilyness
-Lightweight

Cons
- No SPF
-Didn't help longevity of my foundation
-Didn't neutralize undesired tones in my complexion

Overall this product was not a good one. It felt great on the skin because its lightweight and moisturizing without being oily. However this product didn't do its main job which is to neutralize skins discolorations and to prime the skin. I would give this product a 5/10.

Peter Thomas roths Oilless oil REVIEW!!

This is made of 100% Squalane. Squalane is preservative free and is derived from sugarcane. This is packaged in a clear bottle, with a dropper. This product is meant to be a moisturizer that helps the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, elasticity and radiance. However it is proven that if you want to reverse the look of aging, you need to use more than one ingredient, or product. This is only one ingredient, but it could easily be added to a skincare routine. I felt like this is a great moisturizer, it feels great on the skin and is easily absorbed. I haven't seen a dramatic difference in my fine lines. I'm still young so my elasticity is good on its own. However my skin does look glowing. I feel like my skin doesn't look dull and dry, it looks soft and supple. I use this oil after I do my microderm, it feels great after and it absorbs better into the skin. This doesn't have parabens, phthalates, and sulfates. If your someone who is trying to avoid those, then you can look deeper into this product. There isn't fragrance added so people with sensitive skin can use this without being uncomfortable. This product is $38. You can get this at Sephora, PeterthomasRoth.com, or Ulta

Pros
-Squalane is an ingredient that is known for its moisturizing qualities
-Absorbs into the skin instantly
-Feels great on and looks great the next day

Cons
-One ingredient isn't going to make your skin look better, you need a combination
-Price. Its expensive for an oil
-limited amount of places to get it

Overall this is a good product. I haven't tried out too many oils to compare to, so for now it is good. This is very moisturizing but at the same time light weight. Its a good product for almost every skin type. I would imagine someone with extremely dry skin would love a thick moisturizer. But like I said previously, you need a combination of ingredients to make the skin look more youthful. There isn't one in particular. I would give this product an 8/10.

My face of the day!!

This is the makeup and hair I did today. Im at my boyfriends house in this photo, we are going to go bowling later on. Starting with my eyes, I have Urban Decays eye primer Eden on. I used strange to highlight my inner corner and brow bone.I have NYX's pencil liner on my top lashline. I have Too Faced Better than sex Mascara on both my top and lower lashes. As for the face, I have Too Faced Primed and Poreless skin smoothing face primer on. I have Smashbox's foundation, the Studio skin 15 Hour Wear on in the shade fair. I have Elfs clarifying pressed powder on. Its in the shade Ivory. I have Sephora Collection Colorful blush in the shade Rose Sorbet on. I have Nyc's Bronzer in the shade Sunny. I have Covergirls Wetslicks lipgloss in the shade patently pink. If you guys like these Face of the days posts, comment and let me know!!!

Peter Thomas Roth Glycolic acid 10% Hydrating Gel REVIEW!!

This is an AHA product that is suppose to remove dead skin cells from the skins surface. I would recommend getting a AHA product with the percentage of 8-10% to maximize the results. This product is packaged in a clear bottle with a pump. Which is a plus. Its a clear liquid. It doesn't come out gel at all it is very liquidy, so a little bit of this is all you really need. This product is fragrance and oil free. It is perfect for people with dry, sensitive, or acne prone skin. This has Aloe vera in it which is nice because it soothes the skin. It also contains vitamins A,C, and E. Having antioxidants in this product are more beneficial because you are getting the most antiaging for your money. The feeling of this on your skin is normal. Its a stingy tingly feeling for a couple of minutes and then it feels calm again. Its also normal for you skin to look a little pink. I loved the feeling of my skin the next day after I tried it. My skin felt so smooth and it looked great. This is $48. you can get this at Sephora, PeterthomasRoth.com, or Ulta.

Pros
- Good ingredients. Effective
- Packaging helps keep this stable
-Feels great after using
-Oil and fragrance free, so many different skin types and conditions can use this

Cons
- Expensive
-Liquidy texture
- Limited amount of places you can get it

Overall this is a great product. I loved the way it feels on the skin. It has many antiaging benefits. And the fact that is fragrance and oil free is great. However the price and the texture might throw some people away from it. I would give this product a 9/10.

Josie Maran Aragan Oil REVIEW!!

This product is a lightweight oil tat absorbs into the skin easily. This product doesn't feel heavy but at the same time it's not the most lightweight product I have tried. As far as the packaging goes it comes in a dark bottle that has a dropper attached to it. This is good for this product because it helps preserve the antioxidant in it, which is the vitamin E.  This product is great for a lightweight moisturizier, a cuticle oil, or a split end mender for the hair. Most people don't know that you need a good skncare routine versus one good product for antiaging the skin. This is great for adding into a skincare routine, but you can't rely on this to help make skin look more younger. This product is 100% Argan Oil, so there is no parabens, fragrance or dyes. So this is a universal product perfect for any skin type including sensitive and acne prone. If you have oily skin and have a concern with too much oil, there is a light version of this product. The light version is specifically for people with oily skin that want a lightweight moisturizer. It still has all of the benefits in just a lighter textured product. This product comes in 3 different sizes so the prices range. for 0.5 oz. it is $14. 1.7oz. is $48. 4 oz. is $96.

Pro
-Lightweight
-moisturizing
-Multiuse product

Cons
- Expensive
-One ingredient won't help your skin as much as people think
- Not too much product for what you buy

Overall, I do like this product. This is a great moisturizer and it feels good on the skin. It has vitamin E in it which is good for antiaging however you need more than one ingredient to make the skin look and feel better. I would give this product a 9/10

NARS Sheer Matte Foundation REVIEW!!

This foundation comes in two different finishes. Matte, and sheer. I choose matte because some foundations appear oily on my skin, even though I don't have oily skin. Matte foundations are meant for people with oily skin because they help to control the oil. Nars foundations come with a pump and are in a glass bottle. As far as the formula,This didn't make my skin feel tight at all. I have dry skin and I didn't feel like my skin was too dry. The formula does contain parabens so if your trying to avoid them, don't use this. As far as the coverage goes, it was a medium coverage. It is a buildable foundation but your not going to get a full coverage foundation out of this. The finish of this is a soft matte. I liked the way this looked on the skin. It looked natural but at the same time i made my skin look better. The foundation didn't last all day, which was sad but it could have to do with the fact I used a different primer. In general Nars is more directed towards people with yellow skin tones. I have a blue undertone so it doesn't match my skintone perfectly, but I blended it well down the neck to create the natural look. I didn't have to use a concealer with this. I used my Essence concealer just to brighten up my eyes and to highlight my nose, cupids bow and cheekbones. This foundation is $44. You can find this at Sephora, and narscosmetics.com

Pros
-Good coverage
-Lightweight
-Natural but better look on the skin
-Buildable
-Didn't leave an oily shine on the face
-pump packaging

Cons
-Yellow based foundations. They don't make a color selection for every tone
-Expensive
-Can't find it in most stores
-Not longlasting

Overall this foundation was very great. I was impressed by the coverage, the lightweight feeling, and the longlasting power it produced on my skin. This is a good foundation for people who don't like the oily look that some foundations leave. The downside is it is yellow based and some people don't like that. I would give this foundation a 7/10 only because it doesn't stay all day.

Too Faced Tinted Beauty Balm REVIEW!!

This is a great BB cream. The claims for this product are anti aging, moisturizing, oil free, hypo-allergenic, and broad spectrum chemical free SPF 20. This product is packaged in an opaque tube and it is a squeeze bottle, so it helps keep the ingredients from going bad. This product has plant and vitamin based antioxidants which are beneficial for antiaging. The antioxidants help neutralize the free radicals in the skin. Free Radicals are what causes fine lines and wrinkles, loss of elastin and collagen, and age spots. The SPF in this product is even more effective because of the antioxidants. These help boost the effectiveness of the sunscreen. The SPF is also good because it is made from minerals, so it helps with people with sensitive skin. This has a fragrance free formula which is good for people with sensitive skin, or even people with Rosacea. This glides smoothly over the skin and it moisturizes the skin. It doesn't leave a dewy look to the skin like Stilas cc cream did. This lasted for more than 8 hours and I was very impressed by this. It didn't crease in the smile lines or my under eyes. Which usually happens with concealers and foundations. This product is a medium coverage, but I still needed concealer under my eyes. There are only four shades. I do feel like the one I picked up which is Vanilla Glow looked a little yellow. This contains parabens so if you want a paraben free cream, this is not for you. This product is $33 and it is 1.5 oz. You can purchase this at Ulta, Sephora, or TooFacedcosmetics.com.

Pros
-Has beneficial plant and vitamin based antioxidants
-Has SPF 20
-Helps with sensitive skin
-Has good coverage
-Leaves skin with a natural matte look
-packaging is beneficial for the antioxidants

Cons
-Only 4 shades are available
-Expensive
-Yellow shades

Overall I like this bb cream a lot. This has a good coverage for me, you might need more concealer. This has a lot of beneficial antioxidants. This has a sufficient source of SPF. This is also fragrance free for people who have sensitive skin. I would give this a 9/10 because it has 4 shades and its a little on the yellow side.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal mask REVIEW!!

This is a great facial mask for people with dry skin or combination dry skin. The products claims are it hydrates, calms, nourishes, and has antioxidants that repair the skin. This Mask is a squeeze tube. This is a good packaging for skin care products because it helps keep air out of the container. Air will make ingredients that are beneficial to the skin slowly decrease in effectiveness. This mask hydrates and nourishes  the skin with the ingredient Shea butter. It helps with itching and irritation with oatmeal. It helps with inflammation with bisabolol. This also has some beneficial antioxidants in it. The only bad ingredient is ginger. This could irritate the skin, but its unlikely because there is not very much in it. The feeling of this mask is thick and chunky. The chunks are the oats. This mask thins out on the skin and it sinks in. It feels very soothing on the skin. I use this after I do a microderm, to help calm irritation and dryness. You are suppose to leave this on for 10 minutes but this can be used as an overnight mask. This is $22 for 2oz. And you can get it from Sephora, or FirstAidBeauty.com.

pros
-Has antioxidants
-Helps moisturize the skin
-Helps calm and soothe irritated skin
-Great sleeping mask

cons
-Contains some ginger, which could irritate the skin
- You only get 2oz. of product for $22

Overall this is the best mask I have ever used. It hydrates the skin, calms irritation, and it has beneficial antioxidants that helps neutralize free radicals. It does contain ginger but that doesn't concern me because of the low amount in it. The only thing that is disappointing is you get 2oz. for $22. But this is well worth the money to me and it is something that I will continue to repurchase.

Boscia Tsubaki Cleansing Oil-Gel REVIEW!!

This is a pump cleanser, and it has 5 oz. of product in it. This cleanser has a gel consistency, it doesn't feel oily at all. This products claims are antioxidant packed, removes impurities and makeup, and leaves skin baby soft. This cleanser might have antioxidants but the fact that there is lavender and orange extract in it, makes it contraindicated. Lavender and orange extracts are big no nos in skincare. The reason for this is lavender and orange extracts irritate the skin. This damages the skin, which means your collagen is impaired as well as your elastin. In the long run that will cause sagging skin, wrinkles and more sun damage. I still wanted to try this product for the sake of this review. It doesn't lather, which is a good thing for people with dry skin. However its claim for baby soft skin is inaccurate. If you want baby soft skin you would want to go with a milky cleanser. It also doesn't contain any exfoliants which are known to improve the texture of the skin. After cleansing I felt like my skin was tight, so a thick moisturizer was needed for my skin type. I noticed that this cleanser didn't remove all of my makeup. I still had leftover eye makeup. Which is a huge disappointment. If you are a person who is looking for paraben, sulfate, or phthalate free products then this is something that you might be interested in. It doesn't contain preservatives, artifical fragrance, color, gluten, or ethanol alcohol. This product is $28 and you can find this at Sephora, or Boscia.net

pros
-Pump packaging helps keep good ingredients preserved
-Has some antioxidants

cons
-Formulated with lavender and orange
-Doesn't take off all makeup
-Left a dry feeling on my skin

Overall I was not impressed with this product. It didn't thoroughly cleanse my skin. It had skin impairing ingredients in it, and it left my skin feeling dry. I would not repurchase this cleanser.

Essence's Silky Touch Blush REVIEW!!

I have been trying most of Essences products and I have to say I am pretty impressed. The claims for this blush are it has a silky texture, easily and evenly blended, adds a touch of freshness to your complexion. I was impressed by how strong the pigmentation was. It went on the same color in the packaging, I wouldn't have thought that the cheapest blush that I own would give me such good pigment. It blended very easily and evenly. It didn't leave harsh lines on my face and it didn't have blotchiness on my face like I have experienced in the past with other low end blushed. They have 4 colors, but I'm hoping they come out with more shades because its amazing. The blush that I picked up was matte. There are shades that have shimmer in them. The shade that I picked up was adorable. This shade looked natural on my cheeks. You can't overdue it with this blush, I'm known to overdue my blush sometimes and with this one it feels like its impossible. If your looking for products formulated without parabens, this isn't for you it has a paraben at the end of the ingredient list. This blush was only $3. And you can get it at Ulta

pros
-great pigmentation
- easily blendable
- even to blend
- cheap
- good packaging

cons
- small
- limited places that you can get this brand

Overall this blush is one of my top choices. This has a great color pigmentation, it blends easily and evenly, and its affordable. I would give this blush a 9/10. It was a great purchase and I would love to try more colors.

Urban Decay Original Primer Potion REVIEW!!

Urban Decay has 4 eyeshadow primers: Original, Antiaging, Greed, and Eden. A couple years ago you would never see a beauty guru not talk about the Original Primer Potion. So I tried it and it was amazing. This did what a primer is suppose to do. It should keep the shadow from creasing, it should help the shadow last a long time, and it should help the color payoff. I have oily lids and find that most primers make my shadows crease, but this one didn't. This is a great product for people with oily lids. I have been experimenting with some drugstore primers to see if there is a replacement for this product, but I have to look more. This product can be found at Sephora, Ulta, or Urban Decay.com. This is $20 dollars.

pros
-helps prevent creasing
-helps color payoff
-helps make the shadows last longer
-comes in different shades

cons
-price. Its $20 for a primer, not even the eyeshadow
- Limitations on where you can buy it.

Overall I love this product. It helps the shadow stay on longer, it helps prevent creasing, and i helps with the color payoff. If your someone who doesn't like to spend a lot of money on a primer than this is isn't something that will appeal to you. But stay tuned because I will do more reviews on drugstore primers.

Peter Thomas Roths Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel REVIEW!!

This cleanser is a good cleanser. Its not the best but its alright. I tried this because I want to avoid the aging process when I'm older. this cleanser has glycolic acid, salicylic acid, peach, white oak bark, lemon, lime, linden, grapefruit, and arginine. The fact that this cleanser has citrus scents added to it can be irritating to the eyes. This is also not a good cleanser for people with sensitive skin as it has lots of added scents and people might find salicylic and glycolic to be too harsh on the skin. Salicylic acid and Glycolic acid are great for the skin with anti-aging, however its not that great when the product will be washed off after a few minutes. I do have to say this cleanser did a great job at removing my makeup. It took almost all of it off. However since it is a gel cleanser, it foamed. Foamy cleansers are very drying on my skin. After a couple minutes my face feels tight. this cleanser is $35. you can purchase this at Sephora, Ulta or PeterThomasRoth.com.

pros
- Removed all of my makeup
- Contains anti-aging ingredients

Cons
- Too irritating for people with sensitive skin
- A lot of money for something that is going to get washed off
-Ingredients that are beneficial won't work because they get washed off
- Drying on the skin

Overall I did like this cleanser because it took my makeup off.  Other than that it was very drying on my skin and it contains a lot of fruit extracts that are known to irritate. It is also alot of money to spend on a product where the beneficial ingredients are going to get washed down within a few minutes. I would not purchase this cleanser in the future.

Wet N Wilds Coverall Pressed Powder REVIEW!!

This is a great powder to set your foundation with. This is in a compact and its pressed, which is great. I don't like loose powder because it's messy and it gets everywhere and ends up getting wasted. It comes with a puff and you get .26 oz of product. The claims on this product are long lasting, a weightless finish, and reduced look of wrinkles. This powder helps to reduce the oiliness caused by foundations. I did find that my nose did get oily throughout the day. I have dry skin but my nose is normal. Its a great powder for touch ups along the day. I would say the claim about the weightless finish is spot on. If you apply this on its own, you won't feel it on. However most powders are like that. I don't feel like this disguises the look of wrinkles. I feel like powders and thick foundations accentuate wrinkles. If you have wrinkles try cream or liquid foundations that are lightweight. The coverage of this powder is light as with most powders, when swatched it is very pigmented. I would prefer a powder that has SPF. I got the color Fair/light. They have 5 different shades. This is around $2.99. You can find this at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc.

pros
- pressed powder
-good for setting
-light weight
- fabulous price

cons
- Doesn't minimize wrinkles
- Doesn't keep oil at bay
-no SPF

Overall, I am very happy with this product. This is great at getting rid of the greasy look of most foundations. I love the price of it. And its a pressed powder, so its not messy. I will definitely repurchase this many times in the future.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour Full Coverage Foundation REVIEW!!!

The features of this are: 12 hours of full coverage, SPF 15, a weightless texture, blendable and buildable. This comes in a tube, so you squeeze it out. This foundation is great. It comes in 16 different shades. The shades vary between warm and neutral tones. Which is nice. It is also fragrance free, which is good for people with sensitive skin. I tried this foundation on acneic skin. And it covered it pretty well. I used a little bit more concealer but this was great on its own. The sunscreen in this is titanium dioxide and zinc oxide which is a good combination for people with sensitive skin. The texture of it is very thick, a little goes a long way with this. It doesn't feel thick on, it feels like you have stuff on your face, but i've felt like i've had worse on. This foundation is good at blending, it takes longer than other foundations, but its ok. This foundation is buildable, One layer is good, but another coat is absolutely flawless. This costs $38. You can get it at Sephora, Ulta, or tartecosmetics.com

pros
- Great coverage
- Buildable
- Long lasting
- Fragrance free

cons
- Thick
- Not the greatest at blending
- If you are going to use foundation as your only SPF product. Use one that is rated 20.

Overall, I do like this foundation. I will continue to use it. If Im doing other peoples makeup I would Consider purchasing it. My skin is not acneic, I would want to have a foundation to even out my skin tone, it doesn't need to be full coverage. But If you need full coverage, This is great.

Benefit's Erase Paste REVIEW!!

Benefit has a few concealers, this being one of them. I decided to try this one because it was very creamy. This is a thick concealer and it comes in a jar. This only comes in 3 shades. I got the lightest one and I felt like it was still too dark. The good thing about this is it has a pink undertone to it. This will help neutralize the dark under eyes that many people have. It does have good coverage. The coverage of this compared to Essences is alot. The only difference is Essences can be matched to your skin color. This one covers freckles pretty good. I have a dark freckle on my nose and you cant see it with this. It does crease so make sure you apply powder so it sets. I have found my mascara on the outside corner of the under eye. I think it's because its a creamy concealer. This is $26. You can get it at sephora,Ulta, and benefitcosmetics.com.

Pros
-Creamy
-pink undertone neutralizes dark circles
- Goes on smooth
-Covers Well

Cons
-Not many shades
-lightest shade is not light
-price is alot for something small
-creases

This is a nice concealer. It does its job. If you have really dark circles definitely try this. It does crease. And its not a light shade. I would not purchase this in the future.

Chemical exfoliants DIY.

If you haven't read my last post, please do. That is a blog where I explain to you the difference between AHAs and BHAs and you can determine which ones you prefer. I personally like to use AHAs but I will ocassionally use BHAs due to my blackheads. I will first show you my AHA chemical peel

- Lactic Acid Peel. I hardly ever find products with this as the main ingredient, so I decided to try out a diy one. I use Creamer/ milk. I prefer Creamer. And Cocoa Powder. The Creamer/ milk is your exfoliant. The Cocoa powder is great because it has antioxidants. Antioxidants are what neutralizes the free radicals in the skin. This is good for people trying to get rid of Age spots and fine lines and wrinkles or for people trying to prevent. You take equal parts of them and mix them together. It will be the consistency of brownie batter. I personally use a foundation brush to apply, but you can use your hands too. Let this sit on your face for at least 10 minutes or until it drys. Then take it off with a washcloth that it wet. I recommend using a wash cloth because its added exfoliation. You can rub with a wash cloth, just don't do it when you have acne, or acne prone skin.

- Salicylic peel. This is great for people with acne, acne prone skin, oily skin, or people with blackheads and whiteheads. The Salicylic is going to help the inside of the pore and the outside. It is derived from the same ingredient Aspirin is derived from. So that is why there is aspirin in this. I recommend to use the kind without the seal. There are Aspirin that do not have coating on them. I purchased mine at dollar tree. This is also anti-microbial, and anti-inflammatory. You want to take 3 aspirin and put it in a dish and put a little bit of water on. This is going to loosen the aspirin up so we can mix it evenly through the mixture. I also use honey. Honey is good for people with acne because it is anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, and anti-bacterial. These are good because it helps with redness and irritation as well as the bacteria. You want to mix this together and put it on your face Leave this on for 15 minutes. Wash of with water. Honey dissolves in water, so it doesn't need to be wiped off, which is good for people with acne so you don't spread it and break pimples open.

Both of these masks, as well as all chemical exfoliants leave the skin more prone to sun damage, so use your sunscreen every day. That is very important with these. Also if you experience any burning with these masks, take it off. You don't want your skin to be raw and painful. It is normal for the skin to be pink, it may also feel like your skin is stinging, or itchy, that is normal. What is not normal is burning.

Different types of Chemical exfoliants

We have all heard about Salicylic, Glycolic, and lactic Acids. But not very many people know the details behind them. The Glycolic and Lactic Acid are the AHA's which stands for Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Salicylic Acid is a BHA which stands for Beta Hydroxy Acid. These help the skin shed dead skin cells. Without exfoliation blackheads, pimples, whiteheads, cysts, and dry skin can occur. Lets first start off with the AHAs.

AHA's are good for sun-damaged skin and dry skin, this is because these help make the skin more hydrated. The added benefit of using a chemical exfoliant is your products are going to penetrate more. Your moisturizers won't sit on the surface of the skin, they will go deeper within the skins layers. It also helps collagen production, because your skin cells need to regenerate. You can apply this morning and night. You want to apply this after you washed and toned your face.
- Glycolic Acid. There is not a better AHA than the other. I personally like Glycolic Acid because you can find it in drugstores. This works great with people who have sun damaged skin. The glycolic penetrates ino the deeper layers of the skin. This is how the collagen is producing more. The more exfoliation, the more your skin needs to work to regenerate new skin cells. This is recommended to be at 8-10% to be most effective. A good product is Alpha Hydrox's AHA Souffle. This is $15 and you can get it at Ulta.
- Lactic Acid. This exfoliant helps to brighten and hydrate the skin. This is good for women who don't have a lot of sun damage. You find lactic acid in some high end products, you can also find it mixed with some drugstore products. I make my own chemical peel using creamer. Its cheaper and it works because I make it on the spot. I will do another blog about that.

Your BHA is good for people with acne, oily skin. This is also an anti-irritant. This is because salicylic acid and aspirin are derived from Willow bark extract. It is an anti-inflammatory for the same reason. This helps with acne because it helps to take the irritating factor out of blemishes. It helps with the redness because its anti-inflammatory. It is also Anti-microbial.
- Salicylic Acid can penetrate inside the pore and the outside of it. That is why it is good for blemishes and blackheads. It is also proven that it helps with the skins thickness, and the collagen production.  You can use this if you have aged skin that is also blemish prone. If you have dry skin that is not prone to breakouts, don't use this. This is recommended to be used at 0.5% to 2% strength.  I also have a chemical peel on this. I will make another blog about this. A good product is Clean and clears Advantage oil Absorbing Treatment oilfree. This is $7 and you can get it at most drugstores.

Overall, AHAs and BHAs are both effective exfoliants. There is not one better than the other. Its best to use the AHAs if you have dry and sundamaged skin, while BHAs are used for oily, blemishes, and black heads. Since they exfoliatiate the pore lining and the outside of the pore. You can use both at the same time, but that won't make that much of a difference. I personally prefer the AHAs, but you would have to try them out yourself.

Stilas CC Color Correcting cream REVIEW!!

I love this CC cream. This is a medium coverage product but at the same time it hydrates the skin and leaves it feeling soft. This is a little matte but it does have a little sheen. I would apply a powder over the top. This has SPF 20, which is good I recommend no lower than 15. This glides on and blends very easily. A really nice feature about this product is its green. It turns the color that its suppose to be on when its on. It has an oil free formula and it is formulated without parabens, for people who don't want them in their products. This helps with pores, and wrinkles because it doesn't settle in them. The only complaint I have is it has alcohol in it. This is $44. You can get it at Sephora, Stilascosmetics.com, or Ulta. I give this product a 9/10.I love the coverage and the finish. The feeling of it hydrating is great because my skin is dry. The fact that this has SPF 20 is great. Overall this is a well done product that I would purchase many times.

Here are some pictures of this product

this is what it looks like before blending it

This is what it looks like blended out

This is me before face makeup, i only have an oil on my face, I dont have a primer or concealer on

this is my face with it on. You can see it brightened my face and it concealed some of my redness.

Essence Match 2 Cover Cream Concealer REVIEW!!

This is one of the cheapest concealers out there and I am pretty impressed with it. It comes with two concealers, so you can mix them together and create your perfect shade. This concealer has a light feel to it. It has a satin finish to it. This is not a full coverage concealer, I generally use this concealer to highlight my face and to conceal dark under eyes. I am a big fan of this because the lighter shade is a little bit lighter than my skintone, it is also a blue undertone concealer. I have a hard time finding products with a blue undertone to it so I was pleased with this. I recommend setting this with powder to elongate the staying power. It does settle into creases, so go easy with it. This costs $3.49. You can find this at Ulta.
pros
- Good price for amount that your getting
- It has good coverage and can be used as a highlighter
- Has a blue undertone to it
cons
- creases easily, so light application is necessary
- needs to be set with a powder
- Can't find it everywhere
- Not full coverage

Overall I give this Concealer a 8/10. This is a good price nice coverage and excellent highlighter. I will repurchase this.

Stilas Illuminating Tinted moisturizer REVIEW!!

I first tried this product and thought that It was a nice moisturizer feel. It left a nice luminescent sheen on the skin. However this did not cover any redness or imperfections. It was as if it was not even there. After about 5 minutes of it on my skin, It felt so uncomfortable on. I have dry skin and for some reason it made my skin feel so dry. I instantly wished I put on a different product. The features of this product are it is oil free, it has SPF 20, and its water-resistant. I have researched more on this product and the SPF is not that strong in this product. Its not a sufficient UVA/UVB protectant. That is something that is very important to me. Another thing is if you have wrinkles and age spots or even acne scars, this is going to accentuate them. This product only comes in 2 shades, highly disappointing. The fact that it does have a shimmer effect to it, this will make the imperfections look worse. This product is $32. You can find it at Ulta, Sephora, or Stilascosmetics.com. I would give this product a 2/10. The only thing I liked about it was the luminous look it left. It left my skin dry, It didn't have any coverage, the SPF is not effective, and it accentuates wrinkles and pimples. I would not purchase this product.
